Our Story

Founded in 2014, Newfoundland Near Me has a rich history rooted in our love for dogs. My wife and I fell in love with the Newfoundland breed years ago when we got our first Newfoundland puppy. It’s been a fairytale since then, forever happily after, lol. When I retired 5 years ago, I decided to take up breeding Newfoundland puppies as a fulltime hobby. I had gone through a lot of breeding training while I was still working in the mines and I easily picked it up when I started. We are not into breeding for profit; the thing is, we had our first Newfoundland puppy (KARA) 8 years ago, after being married for 21 years without a child. Kara brought back life into our home, and as my wife loves to say, she was our miracle dog, because 2 years later, my wife gave birth to our first son, Zake.
